Some snaps from Montana. Spent a couple days in Yellowstone. It's purty. Will add as I edit, though it won't be too many. I was in vacation mode quite a bit. We left at like 6:30 both mornings we were there and it was quite foggy, definitely changed our first stop at Grand Prismatic one day. It was out of this world in the fog. Went back later in the day from a different spot to see it in the clear day. I try to mix up classic postcard type shots with trying to capture any different perspective I happen to think of in the moment. The sky/clouds was mostly cooperative for two days. That helps a ton.

Olympus EM-1 M43 camera, all 5 frame HDR. Prismatic's colors were so nuts I didn't have to even tweak them for them to be so intense.

You went to Montana...but if memory serves...all (or nearly all) of those pics were taken in Wyoming. ;)

This is true, but I did go to Montana. We flew into Bozeman, stayed in West Yellowstone, stayed in Big Sky, and stayed on a ranch outside Livingston, MT, and flew out of Bozeman.

But yes, most of these particular photos are in Wyoming :D

Thanks for sharing. God I wanted to go see Grand Prismatic when I was out in the area but there is just so much amazing stuff to do around there it's impossible to not have to cut out a bunch of world class scenery. Unless I was out there for a year maybe lol.
