Squirrel Fishing at Harvard

The squirels at college campuses seem to be completely unafraid of people based on my observations. Just last night a sqirrel ran UNDER my foot as I was walking so that I had to change direction to avoid stepping on it. This is honestly not even the first time such a thing has happened. I have managed to get squirrels and BIRDS to eat out of my hand on several occation, tbh is isn't even hard. I just know back home that squirrels won't let me get within 20 ft of them, and birds fly off if you so much as look at them wrong, going to college and having small animals not even move out of my path was a strange experience.

Having said that, I have never fished for squirrels before, but I am sure that it would be pretty trivial to design a trap to easily catch squirrels given how retarded they are (actually they often jump in the trashcans, someone could simply screw a little thing on the flap of the trashcan so that it only swings one way and squirrels can get in but not out).

I think the squirrels on most campuses are pretty tame, especially those in high traffic areas.

welcome to the intarweb. this is almost a decade old. at least, the counter is almost a decade old. i bet the page is older.

i think they decided that squirrels at the university of texas are smarter. what's the old saying, "harvard business, for when you can't get into UT law"

I've never seen this happening in the Yard, although it seems like a interesting idea .
