Motorcyclist killed in 3-vehicle wreck|

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision involving two other vehicles at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday on I-285 westbound near Candler Road, according to DeKalb County police. Sgt. Pat White said Desmond Tabannah, 38, of Citation Drive, Decatur, was attempting to pass between a Ford pickup hauling a horse trailer and another vehicle a half mile east of I-285. "Witnesses said he was traveling at a high rate of speed, hit the trailer, and was thrown from the motorcycle," White said. Tabannah was dead at the scene he added. The truck driver, and a horse being carried in the trailer, were unhurt. No charges were filed against the drivers, White said.

I slammed on the brakes as she feebly ran by but a red Ranger pickup hit her going 5-10mph. Maybe both. Turbulence behind big trucks can definitely move you around a bit. I'd imagine it would be pretty bad in the relatively small space between the car and the truck.
