squid comes back alive on plate before eating

I'm going to assume this is China.

They seriously need to learn how to kill their food and cook it properly. Eww. Not that I'd eat squid either way.

Based on the video title, it's a Thai or Vietnamese located some where in east Asia. They serve freshly cut up squid in Japan and you eat the tentacles while its still moving. Never seen it in a chinese restaurant in China.
 
It's not alive, you can see its brain is taken out.

This is like the chicken that "lived" after decapitation because a bit of its brainstem was still attached to the spinal cord.
