Squeaky Printer

Hello all. One of my good friends just bought a nice Hewlett Packard printer and the thing just squeaks everytime something prints. Its coming from the rollers that keeps the paper on track. I wanted to know what is the best form of lubricant to stop this annoying squeak? Thanks for the help.

some kind of silicone lube would probably be best but you have to be very careful not to get any on the surfaces that touch the paper and to get one that doesn't "creep" (migrate from where you put it to where you don't want it). Try a gunsmith's shop - may be able to recommend a silicone lube that doesn't creep.
