Squeaking coming from Speakers

I am using on board audio from an ABIT KV8, and I have the most recent drivers for the AC'97. My speakers are the GT5051. The problem has been occuring ever since I started running these new speakers with on board audio, both being used for the first time. The speakers squeak whenever I scroll on IE. By the way muting all audio settings does not stop the noise. Is it the crappy integrated audio or interference from my monitor, or what? Please help.

Check and make sure all your emi springs on your mobo are properly grounded. Sometimes these springs can get bent or even worse actually get stuck inside one of your jacks (sound, video, parallel, etc...). These springs not properly seated can cause significant amts of electrical interference and make aweful noise's through onboard sound sys's.

I had this issue in the past as well, I belive the mouse wire was acting as an antena and causing issues, I moved the placment of some of my cableing and it seemed to resolve the issue.
