3. Overloading the player with new concepts and game systems.

4. Dual-screen battles, or "What's going on here?"

These were my two biggest issues w/ the game. I didn't make it very far into the game though. I have a pretty limited amount of time to play games, so if the gameplay doesn't click w/ me quickly, I don't keep playing.

Agreed, tw1164. The dual-screen battles are just _way_ too hectic.
