Does anyone know how to turn off the little voice (that you cannot understand) that comes through the small speaker when the MSI Pro 2 is cranked up?
Thanks

I wish I could get mine to say something.
I just bought a Pro 2A and it doesn't make
a peep. Is the voice supposed to come out of
the little black transducer-like thing on
the motherboard or does it come out of the
attached speaker? I get beeps but no voice.

Trust me .....you do not want this. I have an Antec case ...with a tiny (very tiny) case speaker. This is apparently a voice telling you what is happening with those idiot lights on the board itself, and I think it is coming through the case speaker. I may check that closer, but regardless, I wish I could turn it off.
Henry .....where are you? :) We need answers.

OK guys. This worked on my board...but seeing how there are like 4 versions of pro2A, who knows if it will work for everybody.

All I had to do was trick it. It you don't have a PC speaker plugged in, the Smart-DLED tries to muffle the sound from the little speaker on the board. BUT, here is the important part, if you plug in the PC speaker from your case, the sound comes from it. It makes it easier to understand.

OK, here is where the trick comes in. Just cut your speaker wires! If the board thinks the pc speaker is plugged in, it will send the signal to that speaker instead of the on-board on...but it has no idea that your PC speaker is not at the end of the wires!

The only down side is you lose you PC speaker, but hey, I couldn't listen to the board try to say "system available" one more time. Drastic times call for drastic measures!

It really depends how much this feature bugs you.

Good luck...
