Squaking flip phone - any plastic lubricants?

My buddy has a Sanyo 5300 phone and the pivot point between the screen and the phone squeaks whenever he opens the thing, and it can get pretty annoying I guess. Anyways, what can one do about lubricating plastic joints? It's definitely the plastic rubbing together and making an almost rubbery squeaking noise. I told him I'd try to find what I can - any help? :)

The problem with grease is that its hard to get it at the pivot point and not over everything else. I think you can take off the silver endcaps at the pivot point. That might get you somewhere as far a a place to put lube. Not sure about the type tho.

Great phone, used to have one before I upgraded:)
