SQL sever 2000 transaction log shipping problem

I hope someone can help me on this, it's driving me nuts. Awhile back I tried to configure log shipping on our SQL server to another SQL server. Apparently I didn't do it right, so it doesn't work. It attempts to ship the logs, but gets errors, and writes it to the Event viewer. So, I want to disable log shipping. In the Microsoft docs, it says there should be 1)a log shipping monitor under the managment folder on the Enterprise Manager, and 2)a log shipping tab on the maintainence plan for the database I setup log shipping for. Apparently under there I can disable log shipping. The problem is, these two things do not appear in my database! I can't manage log shipping, but the damn SQL server still attempts to ship the logs every 15 minutes. How can I disable this thing from running?
