I use an old MSDN copy of SQL Server 2008 R2 on my home PC. Just to allow me to keep a SQL database up to date on my GoDaddy website.
I think I could get by with the free SQL Server Express. I tried years ago but found it did not support scripts. I use them to update my local database.
Does anyone know if the latest Express version supports scripts?
I would be more than willing to stay with my 2008 version if it will still activate if I install it on a new Win 11 PC. Would make things easier. Same question with my MSDN copy of Visual Studio.
