SQL Server Problem

We use Microsoft Proxy Server here at work, and we log everything to an SQL database. When I go to delete some records for past months, it always logs what I have deleted which eventuall fills up my HD. Is there a way to delete a large amount of data and not have it log to another file?

Search for the words Truncate Log as it happens to me but there's an option to truncate the log every xxx time.
Sorry but I don't remember.
