SQL Server 2000 query question.

Pretty simple question...

Here's an example query I'd like to do...

Select * from sampleTable where itemID = 1 OR itemID = 2 or itemID = 56

is there a way I could save line space and do something like...

Select * from sampleTable where itemID = (1,2,56)

same way for ANDs.

Thanks,

Craig
