Its probably from the same company that places adware on you or are affiliated with them and to remove it, you need to pay them money which ranges from 19.95 to 39.95.
http://www.zerospyware.com/landingpage/?refid=82645 heres one of them but there are hundreds more

Spybot, Spyware Blaster and Ad Aware are all free.
That's what I was gonna say...I have yet to pay for a spyware remover...that would sorta defeat the purpose

Anything that offers a paid service to remove spyware that advertises with popups is a scam. Period. Just use Spybot, AdAware and CWShredder when needed.

This has to be one of the more legible posts by Wduaqnug XP.

I know a few paranoid people who think that antivirus software companies are the ones releasing viruses.

Do they also listen to Art Bell religiously and wear tinfoil beanies? :p

Yeah, I've met people like that. I imagine there's a shred of truth to it though; I bet some AV employee who was worried about his next performance review has released a virus and then "discovered" the solution in record time. :p

Meh, who listens to a headless fetus?

Besides, I'm not a basidiomycete, that's not even in the same KINGDOM.

Sure, for AdAware plus. Most of us use the free personal edition.

The Pro and Plus versions aren't free, but the Standard version is.

Whatever. Adaware saved me a lot of time (and possibly a reformat) on the adware/spyware-filled computers that I've been asked to fix. And it didn't require $30 to do it.

You mean Wduaqnug XP. (that's not a smile)

Of course Wduaqnug was always so "Rage in a Grammatically Incorrect Manner Against the Machine" it was funny.

this is what i was referring to
Do a google for "Lavasoft AdAware". You should find the trial version of AdAware 6.0, which works fine for the purposes of removing spyware/adware. And you don't have to pay for it. Ever.

If it's been repeated billions of times, don't you think there might be a reason?
