!&$#% spyware and adware

My son just installed a bunch of stuff on my computer. I noticed a few minutes ago that something seemed slightly different... ran spybot, nothing.

Thought, "hmmmmmmmmm", double checked the ignore products under settings, and sure enough, 4 things were set to be ignored.

Sooooo, thought I'd remind you that you can choose to ignore certain spyware, or that spyware can actually chose for you. I think Kerry would get 99% of the tech community's votes, if his platform included "I will pass legislation making spyware fall into the same category as viruses.

I want Kerry to ban all spywares, pop-up ads and email spams and demand music-swapping programs to be free for us to download songs from. 😛

why did you bring kerry into this? he only wants you to vote for him to get rid of bush, he has no ideas or issues that he is running on. the only plank in his platform is "if you hate bush, vote for me"

can i get either (spyware/adware) on linux?

i have 2 pc's at my desk and have been web surfing more on the linux box (using KDE konqueror, it is faster than IE these days).

Why don't you focus on the cause of your spyware troubles, which is your son who installed that crap on your pc in the first place?

HAHAHA, you said IE.

Oddly, after removing those programs from the ignore list, spybot and adaware were both unsuccessful at finding any adware or spyware. (other than the usual cookies)
I must be imagining things, but I'd swear something's not running quite right.

Get the software called PestPatrol. best spyware prog you can get. Far better than adaware and spybot combined.
