spymac is totally unreliable, mail sometimes take days to be delievered and can even get lost

signed up lat week and Ialready have problems like that.
tires to email tech support to know what size attachments I could use and the first time got a server error, then the email looked like it went though but never got an answer.

Just not worth the hassle.

come on, people by now should realize that no other company has the ability to offer 1gb email other than google.
do they have $500m in the bank to burn?
they are just trying to catch the wave, maybe they found some way to leech off gmail.

a) very few users actually reach that capacity
b)where do you get the $500m thing from?
c) theres about 4 other companies handing out 1G+ emails

Man, all you people cracking jokes on mac/apple...you're just so cool. Apple doesn't have any stake in Spymac. Seriously, either comment on the deal itself, or don't comment at all. Your futile attempts of cracking jokes on a computer manufacturer are just lame. If you can't do that, then go back to kindergarten.

(b) google going ipo is the big news, they disclosed their financial, they have around $450m, if not close to $500m, in cash.

I just don't see why people are all zealous about gmail, it's cool they'll be offering 1 Gb of mail in the near future and all I'm all for it (heard rave reviews about it's simplicities). And other companies are coming along and offering 1 Gb of email for the open public and they go bashing it (read the other free email upg threads, you see those gmail users smirking...). What's the deal with that? How do you know google will be handle the oncoming rush of users when gmail goes public? Maybe they'll be able to... or maybe not. It's not open to the public yet.

It's just email... the more choices the better for me to store junk. 🙂
