Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.2 problem

hi,
i am using Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.2. When i run check for problems my OS crashes! Its a blue screen which says
"STOP.........
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL ...

Address 80446BD9 base at 80400000, Datestamp 3eebc002 - ntoskrnl.exe "

any idea?

Try a reinstall, cant hurt.

Is everything ok when defragging, running antivirus scans etc? Hows your CPU temps doing?

i have download the Beta version, 1.3,
same problem!
BLUE screen...

an attemp was made to write to read only memory...

It seems to be more like a hardware problem to me. Have you tried running Prime95 to test system stability? Somehow I doubt that Spybot is directly causing all the BSOD.. it's probably more like heavy disk access from Spybot checks that triggered it.
