Spybot S&D Updates hosed for anyone else?

For the past few days, I can't check do the "Live Update" on ANY of my boxes. I get "Bad Checksum" errors. Yet when I run a scan on my drives I get No Spyware Found.

I have tried changing the DL Location too. Same prob.

You might wanna head over to Schadenfroh's spyware thread and follow those instructions first. There are a couple of hijackers out there that cripple Spybot.

Mine just updated fine. Although when i was at my grandpa's house yesterday, he got bad check sum errors. going to the austrailian mirror fixed that.

Had the same problem, but mine was solved by choosing a different d/l

This is a pretty common problem with Spybot it seems... half the time when i go to update it, i need to switch servers because of problems.

Thanks guys. Just got home; AT is blocked at work. I have tried diff DL locations. I DL the proggy itself directly from the S&D website. Hmm.

That's what I had to do as well.

Interesting; I changed the mirror to the Malware USA site and it updated. It did NOT do that before.

I did that on all four of my boxes. Life is good once again. Thanks guys.
