Spybot S&D is malfunctioning...

Hi there,

I just reinstalled windows on my system, and the freshly-added Spybot S&D is NOT functional...I'm experiencing the same issues described in this post:

Basically, it quits immediately when selecting "Check for problems"...

What other GOOD & FREE program can I sue, while I wait for this one to be fixed?

BTW, if anyone here is a member at the S&D forums, please inform the webmasters the damned security code applet won't work, so the website doesn't allow new registrations - and I just wanted to ask for help in this issue...

After you update the program you need to exit the application and restart it.

What other GOOD & FREE program can I sue

Yeah, thanks folks... I got MS Antispyware... that's why I was asking for known GOOD stuff

As for S&D, it closes completely by itself, so I'm not sure about what more can I do after updating it...
