Ok since i updated my itunes the other day to version 1.6, every time i run "spybot search and destroy" it finds itunes in there. What the heck is that? haha. Unless Apple got screwed and someone put a virus in their dl link then something else is up!

there was a recent article about how the new itunes now sends your playlist and song information to apple's database to then give you recommendations based on what you play. i believe that would be defined as spyware.

ha, ha

dunno, my spybot scans never turned up itunes😛 as for the recommendations, you have to turn on the ministore function. its not hidden

Isn't it a preference you can turn off?

yea therse a button right at the bottom right corner for turning it on and off lol🙂 if only sony root kit were that considerate😉

iTunes 5.0.0.35 FTW! iTunes 6.0 and onwards break compatibility with JHymn, even if you only use 6 to buy a song and then go back to 5, as it won't let you buy songs with 5 anymore. And the times I actually need to use the iTMS are far and few, but they have some remixes of songs that I'd only be able to obtain on vinyl singles otherwise.
