I spent two hours working on a coworkers computer with this today. I ran norton, spybot and adaware and it just came back. I turned off system restore and did it all again to no avail. I then went to another pc and ran a google search on it and found a quick fix. I ran it and now no problems.... I hate spyware.. Sorry I just had to rant

This rant sucks. If your rant is not entertaining, just post in in your own private forums or Slashdot or something.

Oh wow! I ran into the same problem and tried the same unsuccessful solutions on my uncle's new computer! He got this new desktop and he's quite dissappointed at how quickly he got infected.

Can you please point me to your quick fix that worked? I could Google as you suggested, but I wouldn't know which link is the one to a good quick fix. Thanks.

ya a friend of mine had the same one... he has been trying to get rid of it as well. I found the exact link that you found as well, but i haven't heard back from him
