i have this computer that when you go into there account on xp i hit ctrl alt delete and i see the window for 1 second then it closes. also msconfig doen not open. and regedit does not open.

do you get access to the users profile?what utilties have you used to remove malware, and viruses?

I recomend adware with the latest def updates. and install the demo version of NOD32 and update to the latest defs

when finished with nod32 just uninstall its better than norton.

once you have done this and still no success reply back.

fixed the problem with Spybot search and destroy, pest patrol, spy sweeper, norton 2004. thanks for the info might need it for other pc
