Spy Shots: ?05 Pontiac Grand Am

who'd waste their money on a POS car like this?

I like the looks of the current Grand Am's.. or at least the 2 door GT models... this thing is butt ugly. All the pontiacs have generally been similar looking (sunfire, grand am, grand prix) i wonder if the other two cars in the trio will look this awful too?
 
Man the front end looks splendid and all, but that rear "gots to go!" Looks like they asked Lego© Land to design it for them.
 
The G6 was a pretty good looking design. The overall stance and rising beltline looks cool.

Everybody is quick to judge a design based on spy pics of a car covered in tape and cloth.

Given the pics, I would agree that it might look odd, but I'll wait until final pics for a ruling.
 
I don't really see how any of you can comment on the looks with all that camouflage on it.

The back bumper is an overlay and the paint job adds lines where there aren't any.

That said, I've never liked Pontiacs and will probably call it ugly when I see the production model 😉.
 
Hah - leave it to ATOT. If this was a foreign car you'd all be saying "It's going to look hot without the camo!" - but it's a domestic, so of course it gets "OMG that is such a POS!".

I can't tell much of anything from the pics, except that I like the beltline. I can't wait to see them at the dealers! GM has promised a nice manual tranny + V6 combo in this one...

Agreed. If this had toyota or honda written on it it would be the next big thing. But since it says pontiac, it must be junk
