Spy Shots: ?05 BMW Z4 M Roadster

Drove a Z4 3.0 manual at a BMW Ultimate Drive event in Portland this weekend, and it was an absolute blast, so I can only imagine what the M-tuned version would be like.

I like the looks of the old M Roadster better, though.
 
Sweet... I wonder how the V8 might affect the weight distribution... the I6 shouldn't be that bad.

I like the Z4's driving dynamics... grippy and a tight steering response, though not as good as a Porsche.

I don't really see them putting a V8 in it, I'd bet money on it getting the current M3's 6. A V8 M3 would be a lot of fun though...

I don't see how people can think that is ugly. It's beautiful, except I don't like the rear end. But the nose is just awesome. Kudos to the designers, save the one who did the back.

I love the design. I only started liking it after I saw it in person.....also the same with the 7 series. I saw a new 5 series two nights ago....now that ....is indeed ugly. I thought I would like it too after seeing it like the 7 and Z4 but no way. It looks too much like that Acura TL with its eye lash look. Too Japanesish.
 
I actually like the 3 series......the m3 was sweet looking, the z3 was okay....this thing...not something i would drive but to each their own

Is Bangle a retard or something?

He designs the Z4 to look like a shark yet when the M version comes out, it doesn't have gills like the M3. WTF?
