http://www.allpar.com/world/mexico.htmlAn unsuccessfull revival of the Ram Charger took place in the late 90s or maybe in 2000. This Mexico-only version was an attempt to relaunch the immensely successfull Ram Charger SUV of the 80s, which was dropped by Chrysler in what was considered an unforgiveable marketing mistake. The whole SUV marked was literally relinquished to GM's Suburban. By the time DC decided to revive the Ram Charger, the marked already had the Cherokees and Durangos, plus the whole range of Ford's SUVs including the Excursion; GM's ubiquitous Suburban, as well as the Trail Blazer and its Cadillac sibling.
