And you have to deal with the worst coverage in the nation. Who wins again?

T-Mobile has terrible coverage, and they know it. Why do you think they offer the cheapest plans of any major wireless carrier? Because it makes them money? Yeah. Right.

Listen, if any of you T-Mobile people get to this point in the thread, please just don't respond. Nobody in the wireless business is going to match the number of minutes you get. Just remember that everyone else gets better coverage and has better phones (unless you're a sidekick user, in which case you honestly believe you have the best phone).

i have sprint right now and am pretty happy with them. My friend just got out of boot camp so i took her yesterday to get a Verizon phone cuz that is what her parents have, she got practically the same phone i have but for sprint and man the plan is soooo much more! She barely has any txt messages too wtf!? i thought all companies had unlimited txt messages!?!?

My plan is:
700 anytime minutes
free nights and weekends; nights start at 7pm
free nationwide long distance
free sprint-to-sprint incoming and outgoing calls
free unlimited picture uploads/messages
unlimited sprintPCS web access
unlimited text messages (shortmail)
$5 auto rebate every month for having a 2 year agreement

$60 a month!

I like the fact that Sprint allows more than 4 phones on a family plan. Also the 4500 anytime minutes plan is nice. Don't think they offer it anymore though.

Verizon doesn't have to compete with anyone on price. Instead, they sell their "superior" network and the fact that since they have the most subscribers, if you get a mobile-to-mobile plan with them, you're more likely to be able to call people for free.

Speaking of network quality, I find it funny that so many people complain about Sprint's network, and yet Virgin Mobile (that uses Sprint's network exclusively) is consistently ranked right up there with Verizon.

You really can't compare that plan since a new subscriber can't get it (or is very unlikely to get it). I have it as well

Man you really seem to resent t-mobile users!

I've only taken mine around birmingham, and on the highway to atlanta, and then down to florida, including some back ass towns. With exception to one pitt of a hell hole on the border of TN and NC I've never been out of coverage with my phone.

Further, for very little a month I have the full t-zones package.

You can keep your "superior coverage" and low minutes. I'm fine with t-mobile; enjoy your bill

I recently got a plan with Sprint and the reason I opted not to go with that plan is b/c they require you to sign up for two years under it. They also do not allow the optional roaming minutes under that plan.
