SPRINT'S k1m KRZR menu slow? any way to fix it?

basically i have a motorola krzr phone from sprint and i love the phone, its awesome except the fact that the menu is slow and things tend to lag slightly when racing through the menu. i used the krzr from verizon and like the interface much better and it responded and moved much faster. is there anyway to fix mine? maybe flash it to different version or something? not really worried about breaking it in the process b/c i can easily get a new one.

any ideas?
 
To check the version of your phone's software:
Go to the Main Menu
Select Settings
Select Phone Info
Select Version

Version 24.2_00.43.00R and above fixes this issue.
