Thinking about cancelling a contract on a 2-phone plan?
Here are some options:
1. Pay $150 early termination fee and get the new phones free with another carrier.
2. Get 2 new phones via fleabay with the warranty risk
3. Negotiate with the cancellation dept for the new phones
750 anytime minutes
150 extra anytime mins with phone #1, $40 monthly fee (LG VI-125 free)
120 extra anytime mins with phone #2, $ 8 monthly fee (LG PM-325 $70 or $40)
----- -----
1020 $48

7AM-8PM Free calls
No long distance charge & free between PCS calls
Drop calls credit

New phones list

Option #3 may not be bad at all. However, the "web special" may not applicable for extending an existing plan.

I think if you just say you're moving out of their service area, you can simply get out of your contract that way. But if you're just resigning up with the same provider might now work.

I actually did move out of their service area and they still made me pay the cancellation fee -- wasn't happy about that at all......

The only way you are covered there is if you are in the military and are transferred via orders.
