It sacrificed a crappy screen and crappy camera for a hokey 3D effect instead of using a regular quality screen and camera.
 
What is wrong with the screen? qHD and not pentile like Moto's qHDs. I have seen an Evo 3D's screen and while it is not a Super AMOLED its not bad.

I have a 3D and the 3D had nothing to do with the purchase. The screen is better than the Evo 4G that I came from, and the camera is good enough for me (I don't take many pictures so I can't really comment on how good the quality is).

Aside from the battery life the phone is awesome (but I guess that's the price you pay for getting cutting edge silicon in a phone 🙂).
