Tell them you want to cancel your service.

Exactly. I have close friends who work for Sprint, and they will buckle quite easily. Mention the fact that you are going to switch to Verizon, and they will be more accomidating. Mention ONLY Verizon though, as they could care less about anyone else.

Unless you have finished your agreement then you are going to find that anywhere, verizon wireless is no different, and 250 isn't full price that is usually the upgrade price or/and the prepaid price.

A cheap lg camera phone is 149.99 with a two year activation, one year is any where from 1.5 x to 2 times as much and upgrade can be a lot more then that. But sometimes you can get a break, but I wouldn't expect one. One thing verizon does do though is for every two years you are with them they give you 50 bucks towards a phone.

Sprint recently introduced their upgrade plan which, if you've had the same phoen for 18 months they'll let u get the same rebates on new phones that new customers get. Quite often the rebates are over 100-130 dollars.

Give some more details, what type of phone is it, who were u talking to, what'd u say, how long have u had the phone, how long have u been with sprint, etc.

From what I've experienced, most people end up choosin between Sprint or Verizon when it comes down to finding a plan. I was this way, and so were most of my friends, but a lot of them ended up going with Verizon. Maybe it's similar plans, similar phones, or somethign else that I have no idea about. My guess is do to market research, Sprint has found that Verizon is their biggest competition for the customers they're aiming for
