Sprint proposes to boost the cost of basic local telephone service from $9.05 to $15.95 starting this June. If you figure in taxes and fees the cost of basic local phone service would be $22.27 every month. Story
They are smoking crack. That is the cost for only the BASIC service, not including any calls, extra features, or anything else. Time to follow everybody else and just get a cell phone and cut off my residential service. I use a cable modem anyways, who needs it.
How can a company expect to make an increase like this that fast?? WTF
Not to mention our power rates going through the roof. We only get 1% of the power from Hoover dam which is ~25 miles from here, it all goes to AZ and CA. Yes, I said one percent.
