Have been reading reviews on this puppy but no one is really clear on just how well it works.

I want a rugged phone that also has GPS navigation, but I dont know how good Sprints service is.
Would I be able to use the Motorola i365 as a replacement for regular automobile GPS with verbal directions?

Most of the reviews I found say it has that capability but they dont say how well it works or if I have to pay an assload of extra money for the service. Sprints website isnt clear on this either (or I keep missing an obvious webpage).

Have seen plenty of the higher-end PDA phones that do this but they are expensive and much more than I need in my daily routine.

Please forgive my ignorance. I have been using a Tracfone for the past 3 years.

Sprint Navigation does support voice directions, however the phone you have listed is not supported. Please look here for the complete run down. I have not used the service, as it costs an extra $10 a month (unless you have the Simply Everything Plan), but I have heard that it works well. Many blogs raved about how well the GPS worked on the Samsung Instinct.

Might want to see if you can get Google Maps on whatever phone you get as well. However, the caveat is there is no voice navigation.
