My friend was testing one. I played with it for a while, but the service had already been shut off, so I can't comment on EVDO or phone performance.
Size is nice, much thinner in width than my blackberry, about the same thickness.
I like the keyboard, nice and big. However, there is no indicator on the screen to let you know if you're in Caps mode...extremely annoying for typing passwords, etc.
Nice screen.
GREAT wireless management app, with lots of powersave modes.
Played video nice and smooth, streamed some music off Orb using wifi, worked fine, camera is pretty good, video recording is surprisingly good.
I don't like that when you have the KB slid in, one handed usage is virtually nil. EVERY smartphone maker needs to adopt the scroll/escape wheel on the right Blackberry has perfected.
Hmm...anyt other questions? I may go grab it from his office next week to play with more, he's out of town on his honeymoon for a couple more weeks and I'm covering some of his work...
Oh yeah, KB slide mechanism is slightly flimsy....like you can start to slide one end in more than the other and it'll get kinda jammed. Hard to explain, but I doubt you'd break it, just a little annoyance.
Oh and I wish it used regular SD instead of MiniSD! :|
