are the only things u can d/l. like ringers and screensavers from the list on the sprint website, each of which cost $1? i want a new ringer, but dont want to pay a $ each time i want a new one

is there any way to d/l your own images to use as wallpaper?

i have a sanyo 4900

I am guessing you can make your own ring tones and probably use your own wallpapers with the data cable...

thats what im wondering about...i thought if i found an image on the web on the phone i could save it for a background, but i cant seem to...i dont want to buy the data link and still not be able to make my own images/sounds

I know that you can dl your own pictures to use as wallpapers w/ Sprint PCS Vision.
I have the Samsung A500 and though I haven't done it, supposedly you just e-mail the picture to the phone and set it as the wallpaper.

they haxored teh g1bson


they actually found a way of downloading ringers(and pictures) from a non sprint site, so you can download your own midis and jps.




read up.. its interesting...

makes me want to get the a500 now.... but i like my 5150...

I would hold off on a a500 and wait for a 5300. I'm getting impatient tho, my Moto is 2 years old!!!

Forgot to mention. I think that Sprint won't be able to keep up the current Vision pricing for much longer. Other companies are starting to make it cheaper to use data (even if "extras" still cost extra) Rumor has it that the there is 3rd party software being developed to allow image/ringer upload via the data cable.

One step ahed of you. I already talked myseif into a phone, but the phone isn't on the market yet:|
