You can browse the web, use the WAP version of AIM. D/L games, ringers, and backgrounds.

I've had free Vision for almost a year now!

It is basic internet browsing. There are other things you can do that are not part of the TOS agreement but if not abused they will not come a callin.

You also get a $10 month download credit to DL the games and ringers from Sprints site. It's a $5 credit if you got the picture pack.

E-mail, IM(AIM, yahoo), unlimited text messaging. Unlimited web downloading, stuff like that. Check out 3gforfree.com and download all the backgrounds and ringers you want until your 2 months are up. Unless you text a lot it's really not worth it.

Seriously, how do you have it free? Its not availabe via retention for free IIRC. I've had it for more then 2 years now, $10 a month with picture pack. I should drop the video mail option tho; pretty useless.

They keep on screwing up my family's bill, so everytime we ask for an upgrade to the plan for free or more free services. Works like a charm.

Some people got "grandfathered" in with certain phones for free. The $15 is somewhat new but does include the SMS messages. If you try and cancel after your two months they will (almost always) offer it to you for $10.

Anyone else think that is bull$hit?

When you use the 18 month upgrade for a new phone, they make you
sign up for vision if your phone is capable of it.

Phuck Sprint!

They give it to you for free for a short time hoping you get hooked on it then pay for it.

If you don't want it, call them and cancel it.

When you use the 18 month program for a new phone, it is most likely a vision phone.
If you get a vision phone you must sign up for vision as well. You cannot cancel it, if you do, you owe
Sprint $150.

So basicly, for the $150 they give you, you pay 15 per month per year ($180)
So not only have you given all of the money back, but you have also given them an extra $30.
Like I said, phuck Sprint.

Considering my mom just went through this a few months ago... and she doesn't have Vision on her phone...

that's completely false. Go on sprintusers.com and explain your situation to the members there. There are many sprint employees there that will help you resolve this "difficulty" that you have run into.

My family has 3 vision capable phones. There is absolutely no clause in the contract that states you must subsscribe to vision.

I haven't talked to them, I am simply reading.

If they wanted to, they could charge you and its in writing.

Why do they even have that written?

I think it's worth it. I hook up my phone to my laptop and use it to get online when I'm on the road.

What new phones do you want? They come out constantly.

EDIT: I added a second line onto my account last September or so. I've never had Vision on it beyond the 2 month trial. I do have vision on the primary line, however.
