Sprint PCS: downgrading plan

So I was dumb and paid for a plan that I thought I would use, but after 5 months, it turns out that I'm not using it fully, and I would be much better off if I could switch to a lower plan.

I was wondering if people have been able to do this without paying a fee (I'm assuming there is a fee involved, but I can't seem to find my contract) by negotiating, etc.

You usually can but you end up changing your contract expiration date. At least that's how it is with AT&T

Hmm, that would be fine with me if that is the case...just need to call Sprint and ask I guess...just wanting to know what I might expect on the phone call so I can be prepared 🙂

yeah, i've downgraded my plan once, then i upgraded a few months later b/c i needed the minutes back! sprint never cared, but they do make you restart your 1 or 2 year commitment again (at least they did to me anyway!!!)
