Sprint Evo and Google Intergration Text Issues

I am having an issue with my Evo and the new google integration. I signed in to my google voice and told it to take my current cell phone number and make it my number for my google and cell service.

It went off without any problems however I have an issue that google voice takes all my text messages. I would like to use the sprint service for text messaging because I like the interface better on the evo.
Is there a way to make google stop taking my texts? I can text out through my sprint service and not have any issues but when that person sends me a text back google picks it up.

Im using my EVO exactly as you are and I still use the "message" interface in the phone I dont see what the problem here is..
you arent getting messages at all in your message interface?

My texting has not changed at all since the integration.

Go to the GV app, go to settings and disable notifications for the GV app. Make sure text notifications are enabled though. Make sure the other app is set to deliver notifications then.
