springy not hard hair gel?

I got a bottle of tigi bedhead power trip gel and it's pretty good, but it still makes my hair a little more hard and crusty than I'd like it to be. is there a kind of hair gel that makes the hairs sort of spring back and curl up without making them hard and crusty?

Bed Head is some good sh-t so its going to keep your hair very stiff. I use Dep Sport (10) for maximum hold. I'd try something lower maybe a 5 or below and see if you get the results you want. Water is going to make your hair shiny and pretty stiff...
