Ouch....that's almost as bad as being a Lions fan these days.

George Brett just said he wouldn't sign any more than a 1 year deal to play for the Royals these days after hearing how much the NYY's are going to be over the luxary tax threshhold! That is of course if he was still playing. I think he meant it more for the young kids these days than anything else.

Baseball's just a little different from the other ball sports. Sure it's basically just "hit the ball with the stick", but there are always a lot of little subplots going on based on who's pitching, who's battting, what the count is, who's on base, what the score is, etc, etc, etc. You either like that kinda stuff or you don't. I can certainly see how people think it's boring tho.

I agree with minendo. MLB died in 1994. I really don't care anymore. I used to be a huge fan of the Braves, and I really loved Nolan Ryan, but I hate MLB now.
