Spring has sprung?

Wife took these pis in the back yard. We still hav snow on the ground but the last 3 days have been in the low 70s.

Got caught in a thundersnow for the first time today. Was running and heard a huge clap of thunder. A minute later, it was a white-out of snow for about two minutes. Pretty crazy.

On campus, crocuses were starting to come up on Friday.
They're probably regretting it, as the wind chill is -15F now. It's not supposed to go above freezing again for the duration of the 10-day forecast.

60F in January, near zero in February. I'm expecting tornadoes in March, a blizzard in April, wildfires by May, and a quick bout of frost on June 16th.

It's started to become spring like in the last couple days actually, birds have started to come out in full force, we get the occasional sunny break as opposed to mostly rain, snow or overcast, and looking out the window now I do see small buds on a few bushes.

Although the forecast is for rain for the next 5 days...
