i can get an BBA x1900xt for 349, should i spring for that or wait for the r580+

the rest of my rig is an x2 @ 2.4ghz, 2gb ram, audigy zs2, and right now an x850xtpe

i play CSS competitively (cal main) and play other titles like grand theft auto, NFS:MW, and other mainstream titles 🙂
 
I'd get it. If it's a good price at the time, go for it. Otherwise you deny yourself the enjoyment now so you can have something better later... except that no matter what you buy or when you buy it, something better will always come along so quick it doesn't matter anyway. At least enjoy the ride... buy it now.
