Going to Cancun March 8 - 13th. Anyone been there?? What should we do? Where is there to go?

I hear the cops are pretty corrupt and if you walk alone or as a couple at night, they would "arrest" you unless you pay them money. Any one with experience with that?

Mexico is the only place so far that I see that I can rent a stick shift car. (Besides Europe) Maybe I will take one out one day and learn.

Anyways, feel free to post where you are going and what your doing.

Ehh be careful... Our unofficial senior end-of-the-year field trip was gonna be there, but it got cancelled when like 2 people signed up.

Me and some friends are going to rent a hotel in Daytona for spring break, were all finally 18, so it should be fun 😀
 
I was suppose to be in Boston, but my friends sold out. It makes me really upset. Needless to say, I'm considering The RockBoat as an alternative. Granted it's not spring break, it's still gon abe bad ass.

I have some friends from UM going to Cancun, say hi to them for me.
 
im going no place just liek i did the past 2 years. and same thing i will do senior year.

but if you have to go to mexico there are alot better places then cancun

I went with some friends in 99. Just like you said, one of my friends was totally drunk and got separated from the rest of us. He was walking back to our hotel and the picked him up and demanded $100 or they would throw him in Jail. I've never seen anyone as scared as he was when he came back to the hotel to get the cash.
