That's why Canadian universities call it "Reading Week"...it is intended for you to catch up on assignments and prepare for exams and other studying. Plus "Spring Break" is actually in the dead of winter, February...

To answer your question, Xenon14, the prices will jump significantly because the travel places are taking advantage of the fact that many will want to go away, so don't think you'll be getting amazing savings.
 
I have a biochem test and a rough draft for my thesis due the week after but I'm still going away. Need to figure out where though.
