So, I am looking to plan a spring break with my girlfiend.
I was thinking about a 7-day Carnival Cruise in the Eastern Carribean, but it is kind of pricy... at least ~1,000 with airfare. I have already been to Cancun, but that is more of a bachelor fest. What is a good place I can take her that won't bust both our banks... something in the 700-800 range. I was thinking maybe Bahamas or Jamaica. Any advice?

Bahamas on a Royal Caribbean ship, like the Sovereign of the Seas. Check around, I bet you can find some good deals. The food on the ship, man.............

Cozumel is not bad.. lots quieter than Cancun

Bahamas are more to the casino side in general

The Caymans are not bad

Jamaica , so so... lots of the island can be dangerous.. the resort areas are ok

It depends on just what you are looking for

I will rent you my apartment for a week for $800..........

Take a driving trip for the week, if you are still talking to each other by the end, you can make it through anything. :)

If you ski, there are often packages for resorts out west that may very well fall into that price range. Park City Utah area is pretty good.

If really interested in something tropical what about a trip to Key West?

ratkill,
I would be all for skiing man, but my woman wants a beach.
I can't complain if she wants to be running around in a string bikini.

Come to Iceland, we have one beach here that usually has hot water running by it so the water is rather warm, then we have mountains with snow. The problem is that we dont have snow yet where the ski reserves are, just frost, and I dont think the hot water is running at the winter time.

Caribbean is nice but still pricey. Check out the bahamas. Most airfare from NC is around 400-500 bucks then you pay for your hotel. Cape Cod is nice and airfare is only around 200.

Ok... after spending 5+ hours on travelocity... this is what I found:

4 Night Bahamas Cruise (Monday thru Friday) - 399 includes Port Charges
Roundtrip to Miami from Boston - 235
less than 650 a person.

Or get one of those Spring break packages..
7 day with air to Bahamas or Jaimaca and spend abot 750 per person... No cruise
