I learnt something today! Pretty minor but I've never had a reason to play with it before - I created a combo box in LibreOffice and Excel to derive its list of values from a cell range. Potentially handy.
The only thing I'm puzzled about though is the lack of autocomplete when one goes to type in the combo box rather than using the mouse. Neither LibreOffice 6.4 or Excel 2007 employ autocomplete while typing stuff in that box. Is there a good reason why not, or does say a newer version of Excel already have that feature? Seems like a no-brainer to me.
