Spraypainting a keyboard?

For the hell of it, I'm going to spraypaint a keyboard. I'm taking the keys off and spraying them seperatly so that they don't stick to anything when it dries, but is the plastic in the base going to be affected?
 
Most keyboards aren't mechanical anymore, they use rubber supressors to make contact with a circuit board... you would someone have to remove the curcuit board if you ever want to use the keyboard again.
