Hi all,

I've got a Celeron 900 @ 1.14Ghz paired with a GeForce2MX. If I were to get a GeForce3 Ti200, would the CPU be a bottleneck for the vid card? And for the current situation, am I maxing out the vid card with the CPU at that speeD?

TIA.

A GeForce 2MX comes into full potential somewhere around 800-900MHz. I don't think it would be a bad thing for you to go to a GeForce 3 Ti200.

Does this apply to Celeron/Pentium III system only?

I didn't say anything about Intel or AMD.

For a GeForce 2 MX, any processor below 650MHz or so is holding the system back. At 1.1GHz or so, the system should have enough power to nicely drive a GeForce 3.

I would think that a processor around 550-650Mhz complements the GF2MX pretty well. WEll, that's at least what they say last time. How much of a performance boost do you think I'll get moving to a GF3 Ti200?
