Sportscenter gets pranked by Fake Steve Bartman(Howard Stern)

Wonder if that was Cpt Jinx. Sounded like him. Surprised they let it go that long before pulling the HS reference out. You can tell the ESPN Dude wanted to bust out laughing about it and probably did after the cameras were off.

I think whoever the prank callers are usually find out some sort of personal information or whatever in order to verify or "prove" that they are the real person. At least that's how I'd guess one would try to verify a person on a phone. I'm sure the person doesn't just say yeah, its really me, and they let it go.

I heard about it at the time but I never got an actual video file of it till now.
 
I'm just now hearing about it. I don't follow/listen to Howard Stern regularly and I can't catch every single second of ESPN (and it's not like they're going to publicize the fact.)

Of all his crank calls that I've heard (I heard the Bob Hope one live and that one was in EXTREMELY poor taste I thought) this one had one of the weakest deliveries. Still, ESPN would be a good network to pull it over on as they've got a good sense of humor.
