Seems like GOP has a lock on golf and Dems have a lock on WWF. I'm not sure which is worse tbh. I do like college football though. More Dems in museums I would bet.

"GOPers are most likely to watch the PGA Tour, college football and NASCAR, according to the study. But if GOP ad buyers want to reach more frequent voters, they should focus on the PGA; golf fans told researchers they were much more likely to vote than NASCAR fans say they are.

Meanwhile, Dems hold the largest advantages among basketball fans, both those who watch the NBA and the WNBA. And fans of World Wrestling Entertainment are also much more likely to favor Dems -- if they vote. Wrestling fans are less likely to cast ballots than any other sports fans."

]So where do independents fit?

I watch football and baseball, not fond of college sports, dislike basketball, hate watching golf and bowling, and am convinced brain damage is required to watch raslin' (as I've heard it pronounced many times by avid fans).

Nascar fans are rednecks that need all the guns they can get, basketball fans are ghetto, golf fans are yuppies - no shocker there.. but I can't explain the WWE crowd.

The Nascar fans apparently have a different ideology than the WWE fans - which is somewhat unexpected. I would have thought white trash would be voting elephant. I suppose they do need their welfare, I guess.

If keeping logs of your Prius' MPG, and chaining yourself to trees are sports, then I disagree with this thread title.
