Sports Officiating: Better or Worse?

Has the quality of officiating in the 4 major sports (football, hockey, baseketball, baseball). Gotten worse in the past couple of years, or has it improved?

It seems like there are constantly horrible calls in all sports (basketball, hockey, football, baseball, even figureskating). I know the 2-referee system has probably been the culprit in the NHL, but what about the other leagues? It seems like horrible officiating is the norm now. I think the NBA is the worst. I know they have one of the hardest games to officiate (up there with hockey), but it gets downright pathetic at times. And the NBA refs seem to have egos bigger than Shaq('s).

It's worse. Just look at the officiating in last years AFC championship game if you need proof. It's a fumble, it's not a fumble, it's a fumble, no it's not a fumble.

The last two title boxing matches I watched were sooooooo fixed it was terrible. The crowds were booing, the ring announcers were like "WTF??", it was crazy.

Could be the most corrupt sport of all time.
